As I sit here on this dismal rainy day, sipping hot honey to ease my cold, I can't help but to reminisce the fond memories of that one weekend away in Cherating.
Okay, fine.
I'll spill the truth.
It wasn't "that one weekend", it was this weekend :P
I just got back half an hour ago and I'm oh-so-eager to tell you about my weekend away! A weekend away to Kampung Cherating, a weekend away from the fuss, a weekend away from the stress (though at this point in my life, it is very minimal - and in some ways, a taboo to even mention), a weekend away after many months, a weekend away to the beach (the kind I like most) .
So, in order to not bore you with descriptions and long sentences, I have made attempt to present my weekend getaway to you in five (5) short statements :)
1. Remembering childhood moments : Playing on the beach - I got a tan.
2. Most annoying moment: On the first night, I got bitten by mosquitoes. My solution to that was bathing in Mosiguard.
3. My favourite moment : breakfast at Payong Cafe by the riverbank, with my companion, both enjoying the peace and serenity, a book in hand (and Eu de Mosiguard - don't leave home without it!).
4. Regretful moments : eating alot! But I will worry about that later.
5. Happy moment : the whole trip :)
