My 2008

I came up with my own list but after reading Praveen's post, I decided to cut, paste and amend his list (so un-original, I know! I highlighted the part which I copied in turquoise :P)

Summing up 2008:
  • January 2008: I had a poor experience with Standard Chartered
  • February 2008: I spent Valentine's Day with Zety - we went to Seremban for work
  • March 2008: Praveen and I went to Cherating for the weekend
  • April 08: completed auditing all sites for Bauer - such a rewarding feeling. Went for an interview in Singapore and made a life changing decision
  • May 08: Praveen dropped his my glasses into a drain, which was the start of a fashion revolution. Tendered my resignation with EES
  • June 2008: Started working in Singapore with ESC - the worst experience EVER! Went to Banda Aceh for a week having take over very badly managed projects
  • July 2008: Praveen & I Mel & I explored Bangkok (and loved it!)
  • August 2008: turbulent times for me Mel (and my her episodes with the boss from hell!) - lots of traveling to Singapore
  • September 2008: Mel's back in KL, celebrated my birthday with family, friends and my ex-collegues (who I miss so much!)
  • October 2008: MNP goes live after many months of rarely seeing him slogging - I finally have a boyfriend again
  • November 2008: Praveen Rajan turns 30
  • December 2008: Scooter, we Mel launches TheNewColour, and went for running the Singapore Marathon with my buddies
Thanks for sharing this year with me.
Best wishes and a Happy New Year!

Online Shopping Ventures

Hello!

Guess what I've been busy doing for the past two weeks (with Praveen's skill, talent, and intelligence, and my addiction to shopping)?

Why?

Because I'm tired of job hunting, I'm sick of going for interviews not knowing whether the guy who is hiring wants a 'leader' or a 'follower', I'm lazy to speak to recruiters, I just hate the whole job search! I am not discouraged, but I thought I'd look into something different. And hey, I've yet to come across a girl who doesn't like shopping! *wink*
