Earth Hour

My brother pointed me to a very interesting site today:

I think it's great that global big wigs have made an effort to participate in this. It may be baby steps but it sure does make a significant difference.

What was I doing during Earth Hour?
Partying outdoors, of course *wink*

My Elephant

I can never get enough of Thai food. Since our trip to Krabi over a month ago, our taste buds crave kieffer lime and lemon grass tingles. We usually head to Viccuda for a tom yam fix but of late, the service there has deteriorated, a very long wait for food and portions have reduced significantly.

After a good workout at the gym, we decided it was time to treat ourselves at My Elephant.

For more information on what we ate, please see Praveen's review.

I always find dining most pleasurable in the presence of friendly restaurant staff. The waiters and waitress at My Elephant were pleasant despite being extremely busy. We were seated immediately as we arrived early and food was served no more than 10 minutes after ordering.

I really enjoyed our meal and would definitely return soon.

Short Term Mall Space

Chics Closet has founded YOUTHOPIA @ Tropicana City Mall, an ongoing event that provides short term mall space for start-ups and young entrepreneurs beginning this April 18.

Youth can now experiment and experience having a business within a shopping mall by renting a space for a small fee.

Chics Closet has considered the current economic situation and reduced the commitment rates from every weekend in a month to just the first and last weekend where people usually have money in hand.

Besides doing business, the event invites young talent to perform within the grounds of YOUTHOPIA.
